Le Tire Bouchon

We were on the last day of our trip to the south of France and decided to visit Perpignan city for lunch before going to the airport nearby. We looked inside this restaurant and from the doorway it is obvious that the ambiance is very special. We had a delightful lunch from the menu du jour. The food and wine were excellent, as was the service. A thoroughly delightful experience before flying home. We shall return to Perpignan and this charming restaurant. Merci beaucoup à tous chez le Tire Bouchon!

The food was wondrous - the home made foe gras was terrific - first time I have ever tried it. Unfortunately the carafe of red wine whilst adequate wasn't anywhere near as good as the food - suggest you ask for a wine by name rather than rely upon house red.

From crossing to Perpignan train station, we enjoyed this simple restaurant with quality products. The midday formula is perfect. Good quality and good reception. 200m from the train station, it is worth 2 minutes walk to eat healthy.

Great little place with country style food run by a lovely family. Our French zip their English zilch. Mattered not!

Good traditional cuisine and good service. Good qualite report. We'll be back at our next visit to Perpignan.
