Really I would give this place five dots but I am fighting against star inflation. Paris has many truly great restaurants, which I can't afford, and the ones like this where 30 euros gets an extremely satisfying entree plat dessert and the perfect Holy Cow I'm In France response from your tourist self you have to leave some headroom for Joel Robuchon, you know? So I will just say, the roast chestnut and hazelnut soup was superb. The whelks and the Basque style boudin were excellent, but you know, whelks don't have an upside as big as roast chestnuts, do they? You're still chewing on sea snails, which is only one of the things you come to France for. I was pleased that the mayonnaise and dill sauce was mild and inviting. The tuna, perfect. The dessert was made with mango cream in little wafers and although they did a nice job, it's probably best to go to Guadeloupe or Cayenne for the French Tropical experience. We were happy with everything. The wine was nice too, but French wine seldom tastes very assertive to one raised in California. For less than a hundred euros. The guy is very nice and translates the chalkboard for you. Eat here.

We had a nice lunch here recently. Servers had shields and the menu was on a board, but tables still quite close and many patrons who came in did not have masks and did not respect any physical distancing. Anyway we had a table apart from others so it was OK. Food was fine; my 'mi cuit au chocolat ' was just average. They have a good wine selection. The service however, was not especially friendly but it was efficient given the number of people in the restaurant. I would say it was an 'average ' value for money at about 177 euros for three but we did have a bottle of wine and three classes of champagne to start and coffee.

Smashing little place with a great menu with some typical French classics and even better seasonal specials particularly when it comes to fish and seafood dishes. The staff are very friendly and are more than happy to help with menu suggestions and wines.

Got to this place when raining. Place was fully booked and terrace wet. They seated me by the bar while preparing the terrace. Food was tasty, nice and staff was kind. I liked a lot cold salmon.
