As we were driving by, we opt to have dinner at Legal Sea Food. We were confused because the GPS put us at the mall entrance, so we almost missed it. Upon entering, we were informed by the hostess that it will be a 45 min wait, so since there was no wait to be seated at the bar, my husband and I decided to eat at the bar. We started w/fish tacos and New England clam chowder, my husband said the chowder was one of the best he ever had! My fish (2) tacos were average w/ almost a bit of a sweet/sour taste. We were already full so we shared a lobster mac/cheese. The lobster was delicately shredded into mac and white American cheese and sprinkled lightly w/seasoned bread crumbs. It was amazing, but sharing it left just enough room to enjoy dessert. The key lime pie was a bit overwhelming w/the citrus lime flavor. In my opinion the lime should be reduced to half or the crust should be increased. Over all a very pleasant culinary experience. Recommend and will return.
I would give them 4.5 stars but we know Google doesn't allow that so i went with 4. Another chain I truly enjoy when I'm not eating at hole in the wall, michelin star, or mom and pop shops is Legal Sea Foods. The quality is decent, the staff is well trained and the restaurant is clean. Food is served at a timely manner even when it's very busy. I definitely recommend if you're at King of Prussia mall and hungry to check it out or if you make a trip to Boston! The only reason I took off a star was the limited menu and being out of salmon when I went which is my go to order. Still a great experience
An absolutely fabulous restaurant, especially for gluten free food. The staff was amazing, and I hope to return the next time I?m in King of Prussia. I ordered a salad, and the fish and chips. No gluten goes into the fryer, so most fried items are gluten free. The waitress also brought us some gluten free rolls. The salad was delicious, and the fish and fries was also great. The dessert, a set of three chocolate covered ice cream balls was very tasty and sweet. While the restaurant is somewhat expensive, I definitely thought it was worth it.
After a long day at the mall my family and I wanted to enjoy a good dinner together. With so many restaurant choices in that area, we are glad we picked this establishment. We were presently surprised with a great dining experience at Legal Sea Foods. Food was delicious and prepared to our expectations. The most appreciated part of the experience was our server. This young lady had a smile on her face though out, she was very pleasant and made sure our table got the attention. We will definitely return for more pleasant dining events.
