So disappointed in a family dinner at Lemoncello last night. Zucchini fritters were burnt -enormous dry lumps of unrecognisable zucchini on a bed of undressed rocket. Prawn salad was served as unshelled oily prawns. Not much fun shelling oily messy prawns at the table and ended up wearing much of it. Main course veal casa very average and served with cold vegetables. Meals were served at different times. Coke spilled down one person's back. Jammed into a corner where the waitress could not get down the table so we had to pass the parcel with drinks and meals. Would have been possibly okay if the service had not been patchy at best, borderline rude at worst.
Haven't been to Lemoncello in a long time. More seats crammed in . My husband was knocked each time they brought a meal to adjacent table. The mood they have tried to create in the outdoor area has fallen short of the mark. Very dark, no table clothes. Food was overcooked and had obviously been left under the heat lamp. Same old menu they had 2 years ago.Very expensive for the quality that was provided.We wont be going back.
Had dinner with friends. Was relatively busy. Younger staff maybe not as attentive as they could have been. I had spaghetti vongole which I thought was on the harder side of al dente. Flavour was ok. Location is close for me so its convenient. None of our party of 4 raved about the experience. For some of the menu prices and in a suburban shopping centre should be better.
Poor poor quality food, service and atmosphere, this is a very noisy restaurant and the quality of food was shocking we waited 1 hour for bread with drinks and another hour for starter when as soon as our cutlery hit the table the main course was on the table, we all passed on dessert and coffee as we had had enough messing around.
