We got a table when everywhere else was full it was late, around 9pm, when kitchens start to close locally. The menu was already quite limited but we placed our order. Only to be told that not one of the chosen dishes was available. So we tried the second option, and third, and were told that they also weren’t available. When our meal finally arrived, the food was not of great quality and definitely basic. Not even service was kind and waiters stressed.... Personally I would not recommend it.
We discovered this small restaurant by accident and decided to call in for lunch. We were glad that we did as, in addition to their fixed price €16 menu, they had an a la carte menu that included tapas, which is what we had. The interior is shabby chic in style and there are references to the comedian George Brassens in the photographs on the wall. There is a pleasant light atmosphere, the staff were friendly and the food was delicious and excellent value for money.
We selected this restaurant on our first evening in The medieval city, because of its varied and reasonably priced menu. We were given a warm welcome. We chose one menu at 16€, which included a well garnished salad, followed by steak and chips (perfectly cooked, blue) and an apple sablé and a portion of very good fish and chips 14€. The service was pleasant and quick. I would recommend.
Stopped by this restaurant last week with my husband and 3 kids during the heatwave to cool down in their AC establishment. They also have a lovely terrace available for seating but it was way too hot that day. Staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, family run restaurant. Food was also great at a price that could not be beat for the quality. Highly recommend!
