Wood panelled interior with a welcoming log fire - very cosy especially when its very snowy outside.There was a choice of 2 set menus - a 3 course 'menu des merveilles' for 19 euros and a 4 course menu 'Logis de France' costing 24 euro. A la carte was also available.The menus were broadly similar with the 24 euro menu having a a hot *and* a cold starter.Desserts, pasta, terrines, tartes , cured ham and smoked salmon were all made at the restaurant I had the home cured jamboncru to start followed by magret de canard in homey followed by 2 small creme brullees - excellent value for 19 euros.Service was friendly , efficient and welcoming The wine selection was good and there was no pressure to take the most expensive bottle on offerall in all we had a brilliant lunch and we hope to go back soon.

beautiful experience with my family in this beautiful hotel, the rooms were very sweet and cozy. eating was amazing, everything was made to house, desert, brot, jam etc. beautiful French cuisine. the truite with amandes was delicious and fresh from the vivier. it's a beautiful one. space for families, couples etc. and I recommend this place more than others. we'll be back. if they are looking for a truly French experience, then this is the place of the beauty that surrounds them to the amazing French cuisine and naturally welcoming and helpful staff, they cannot be anywhere else. thank you so much that they are us and for this wonderful stay!

Great service with lot of smiles. The trout was off the menu but the charcuterie and cheese plater was delicious. The homemade desserts are highly recommended. And the house bread delicious
