We were in Marmande for an appointment and chose to eat at this local restaurant. The vast majority of customers were locals which is always a good sign. The menu du jour was very good value but instead we chose carpaccio of beef and their...perigourdine salad. Both were generous portions and very good value.
Had the plat de jour starter jambon my wife got was a bit tough mine was good the Canard was the tenderest we have had, meat just melted, the creme brûlée was best we have ever had and coffee included in the Euro charge....Great value good food and service was adequate. Loved watching the world go bye.
Welcoming reception. Limited menu though something for our party of five all reasonably priced. Very friendly attentive service. Food excellent cooked as ordered. Wine well priced. All very clean tidy. Staff gratuity well deserved.
Low quality and over priced food, combined with a bad atmosphere made this a poor meal. The only thing that convinced me this place wasn't a tourist trap was that it was full of locals, who are obviously content with mediocrity.
