Les Voltes - Tisch reservieren

We have visited Callela on a yearly basis since 2011, apart from the last two. Whilst we have often had a drink and snacks at Les Voltes, this was the first time eating a meal there. We had a table with a lovely view and were served drinks quite quickly; however we waited longer for our food which was the Sea Bass which had minimum 2 persons in its description on the English menu. The fish was expertly filleted at the table, there was plenty of it and it was delicious, served with potatoes but no other veg. Our disappointment came with the bill when we found that we were charged double the price which on the menu was shown as 32.50; nowhere did it say that this was per person. On the same menu under the Section Rice and Noodles it clearly says ‘price per person’ but not on the part of the menu where the Sea Bass is shown. Despite pointing this out we reluctantly paid the full price; however, when the staff saw me taking photos of the menu they were very quick to try and appease us by offering us glasses of Cava which we declined. It is a delightful setting with pleasant staff but, sadly, we will not be returning there preferring to revisit the other restaurants in the area upon which we can depend.

The tomato bread had little more than a smear of tomato on it. Two of my friends had turbot which was very bony. I ordered the fillet of veal which I said I wanted done medium well. I asked if anything came with it the surly waitress barked: No. I asked if there was anything I could have with it she mentioned a couple of things (which were nowhere listed on the menu) but in such a lackadaisical manner I decided not to bother. The veal when it came apart from a bit on the edge of the steak which was edible was basically raw. To be fair when the waitress came to collect the plates saw I had left 95% of mine she asked whether I wanted it re-cooked, but having eaten the tiny lick of mashed potato it came with I couldn't be bothered. On the plus side my tarte tatin the Provencal rose wine were v good, but all in all a disappointing experience.

We were more than happy with our experience here. Regina who looked after us was the perfect host, informative, friendly and always smiling she helped to make our visit a memorable one. The restaurant is spotlessly clean in white and blue decor and we were lucky to get a table as they were busy. We had a great local Chardonnay (Nobel) . Food was excellent, not huge portions but well presented and perfectly cooked. Desserts were delicious and we kept sharing spoonfuls from each other as they were so good. Great coffee, great service, Much of the menu was unique to them and all guests looked happy we would definitely return. Iain and Aurora

We visited on July 15th, for a family dinner, while on vacation in Llafranc..This is a very cozy restaurant with high quality food. We had the black seafood rice, veal and surf&turf, and all dishes were excellwntly presented, flavourful and a fanfare for the taste buds..The staff is very friendly, and never stressed even if the place is busy.

Food very tasteful. Service very professional and with sense of humour! The desert… wow! In spanish: no he comida mas rica en mi vida… Of course, bit exaggerated, but close!
