We tried LIG Korean just after it opened and quited like it. We hadn't been back in a while and were driving by and hungry so thought, what the heck. Glad we did. We ordered the original beef bibimbap in the stone bowl and it was perfect. Crispy hot rice, great flavours, nice variety of ingredients. We will definitely come back and order this again. We'd also like to try some of the other menu offerings as they looked interesting and tasty. The place was fairly empty and I'm not sure why. The prices are a little on the high side (dinner for two without alcohol was around $50) so maybe that's it, but you can eat a lot of crappy food in this town for a similar price. If you're looking for something a little different and delicious, give LIG a try.
We decided to try something new for supper tonight. We decided on Life is Good Korean Barbeque. We were a little concerned because we pulled up at 6:30 on Saturday night and there was only 2 tables inside. Very glad it didn't stop us from going in. The staff was very helpful in explaining the menus and making recommendations. The food was very tasty. Some unique flavours that were enjoyable. If I were to make one negative comment - it would be nice if the main dishes came to our table at the same time. Would for sure go back. Looking at some of the other dishes coming out of the kitchen - there is more to try.
I've been living in Asia for two years and coming back have been looking for good Asia food. This tasted just like Korea! Great staff,delicious fresh food and NO MSG which is a huge plus! I would highly recommend this place.
Well decorated, clean restaurant. Helpful servers. Food is delicious and well presented. Prices are high. 50$ for two guests with no beverages. They are proud of their product and willing to help you understand the menu.
