L'Îlot Vert - Tisch reservieren

Having visited this restaurant 2 years ago and found it outstanding, we were really looking forward to eating here again. We booked a table for Saturday evening and arrived around half an hour before our reservation as recommended, hoping for a drink in the courtyard , we weren't offered this and shown straight to our table . The staff were attentive and the restaurant busy but lacked atmosphere. It was very quiet and it felt awkward to have a conversation, background music would have been good. The menus came ,along with a couple of amuse Bouche which were both fish and disappointing . We were expecting like last time a lovely menu but again disappointing, a very limited choice!!We have eaten in many fine dining restaurants and accept that an extensive menu isn't always good but a few more choices would have been better for us.The food when it came was ok but nothing exceptional, and we have eaten far better for less. The food was salty and bland and lacked flavour. The desserts were awful and we couldn't wait to leave . We paid the bill which for what we had and tasted was expensive and overrated. We ate at L'Hirondelle and Le haute de vile also on our trip and they both were fabulous and excellent value for money and definitely ones to return to . Don't always go by the number one rated restaurant as in our opinion it was the worst.

For a daytrip we decided to go to Bolone-sur-mer and found this place through tripadvisor. It is indeed superb restaurant and the 3 course lunch offer is an outstanding choice. The products used were fresh and of good quality. The service was an enjoyable combination of professional and very friendly table service... at the end for a lunch for two people, apero, sancerre and table water and coffee we paid 87 euro... i tjink for a restaurant of this high quality very acceptable

L'ilot Vert offers fine nouveau cuisine dining. The atmosphere is quite laid back for a fine dining restaurant and the staff are entirely professional and welcoming, without being "fussy".My dinner guest was quite demanding and expected high standards and he found the food and wine very pleasing.A few minutes from the Cathedral, and in the old town L'Ilit Vert makes for a special evening.

First of all the service was superb. Really friendly wait staff, who even helped us with our French pronunciation. The food is fine dining and each course was magnificent. I think that this restaurant is the most memorable thing about Bouogne-sur-mer.

I went here with my sister and we ordered from the set lunch menu. The food was fresh, delicious and beautifully plated. We were seated in a pretty courtyard to the back of the restaurant and the service was excellent.
