I went to the beautiful terrace of the Linde Stans on a Thursday afternoon and had lunch there. The lunch menu offered bratwurst twice. I opted for Älplermagronen. In a traditional Nidwaldner pub they have to be good. But unfortunately far from it. The Älplermagronen served by the Linde for 18 francs had nothing to do with Magronen. Penne rigate served as the basis. The sauce was also glassy and oily, there was no fine cream, as you know it from Niederbauen, and a wonderful cheese taste was not discernible either. A good portion of fried onions was also missing. The apple sauce that came with it was way too sweet for me. Unfortunately, the burnt crème that I ordered for dessert didn't convince me either. In one discipline, however, the Linde was world class: service. Service: 5 Location: 5
