Yesterday, having contacted a Restaurant at Limueil who stated they were open we were initially disappointed that on arrival because trade was slow that they were unwilling to prepare food for just a group of people. So Plan B. It was back to our...home base with our visitors and we decided to try L'Interlude Restaurant which is only mtrs from home and which previously we only normally went there for coffee. The Restaurant was opened a short while ago and they also have seven bedrooms in the Hotel section as well as the front Bar and Coffee Area with its Terrace. What a pleasant surprise. The Restaurant is neatly laid out, the Menu was comprehensive at realistic prices. The Food was excellent as well as being well presented and the staff very helpful. We were the first customers of the evening but the place filled up quickly with a great atmosphere. I have given it FIVE Star excellent rating because it deserves it for the effort that they have put into making it a much needed successful facility in our small town. Well done We SHALL Return
Trying to steer away from the extortionate prices of nearby Limeuil, we came across this little informal restaurant which offered a fixed price menu. Offering was very limited as they were about to finish lunch servie so had ran out of most options, however...what they served filled us up nicely. The only negative note was the steak that was really tough! A smile or from the owners would not go amiss either, but all in all a good experience
Over the last couple of years we would describe this as our local. We try and visit each time we are there about every weeks. It is family run the owners and friendly and efficient and the food is good. We always have a...really relaxing lunch tasty lunch. The frites maison are fabulous
Nothing posh, but good honest food and friendly service. The salads were generous and tasty, and the souffle glace was the best I've ever had and that's saying something
