Local Grind - Tisch reservieren

Again, I'm let down by Trip Advisor's rating system that jumps from "average (3/5)" to "very good (4/5)". Local Grind is better than average, but it's not "very good". Good - probably 3.5/5, if such a mark was available.The coffee was a bit disappointing - not terrible by any stretch, but not as good as I'd hoped - particularly having seen an Instagram post from Maker in Melbourne referencing this place the day before I ate there.The food was decent - nothing to get excited about, but certainly no reason to complain. The service for me was a little slow - I didn't catch the name of the barista, but she was great, and clearly kept busy by a pretty steady stream of people coming in for take aways. The other guy serving wasn't really on his game, and left me waiting for more almost 15 minutes before I ordered my breakfast.

Public holiday, coffee is increased by .50c .... what a disgrace.Barista has long straggling hair, not tiedback ,as has the other server/waitress....yuk yuk. Health hazard.The 3 remaining male staff, ALL have their hair tied back in buns.Fig tarts, not glazed, just plopped on the top of some custard in a pastry case... very very ordinary I will not visit LOCAL GRIND again

Tucked away behind The Watson in Walkerville, this place makes great coffee, but I was disappointed in the small range of snacks to go with it.Excellent menu choices if you are looking for something a bit more sunstantial though. Parking is a bit of a problem as there is restricted on-site parking and finding a street park is not always easy.

Food was good! Portions were quite adequate however coffee was the only let down but still not bad. Staff and atmosphere were great

Reasonably priced with lots of variety. View of the carpark was not inspiring and the music up loud for older ears.
