We have eaten in this Auberge fairly regularly over the past 6 years and have always enjoyed the food. We are lucky to have a house next door and having now moved here permanently I felt it is about time I reviewed the restaurant. As stated food excellent, locally sourced and prepared well by the chef. The meal we had a few nights ago was the menu prepared for the regional gastronomic competition and all I can say is that the starter was the best I have ever eaten to date it was a trout mousse with a crayfish sauce fantastic and they deserve to win just on that alone. Anyway the menu was fixed with a the starter as mentioned main, cheese then dessert all the rest being excellent price 25 euros about 20.50 in pounds and in england it would be up in the 50, 60 pound bracket. My daughter and son-in-laware coming to stay next week and we will behaving that menu again. OK am l biased yes but good food is good food and this Auberge deserves recognition and praise for its food and compliments to the young chef
