L'olivier - Tisch reservieren

The service is indeed slow but this didn't worry us. The set menu offers 3 courses for 16 euros. I had fish for starter and main (perch) . It was cooked to perfection but the sane sauce seems to accompany all sea food. But as I found it delicious, it was no hardship. You get exactly what you order and nothing extra like veg or frites. We chose a 20 Euro wine (half) which bumped the price up a bit. Hubby seemed more than content with his chicken and he loved the apple pie. We would be prepared to put up with the problems as we so much enjoyed the food. The owners were smiling at the end as we made our pleasure known.

We visited l'Olivier for the first time this year, having had many recommendations. We were warned that the service might be a bit slow, but the food was very good. It is rarely full, although there is a very reasonable menu with good choices, and the wines are not more expensive than elsewhere. But the service, friendliness and experience was excellent. The food is freshly prepared to order, as one can see into the kitchen. Everything was delicious, and we went back to check with different dishes. We were not disappointed. Thank you very much, and if we're in teh area we'll go back.

We absolutely loved it!!! We were the only foreigners here...fantastic food, service perfect but slow so you can really enjoy all your 3 courses: . Price wise definitely attractive!

having been pleasantly surprised with food on last visit in June, upon returning in September the food was very disappointing and slow service although not very busy

L'olivier opened just for the four of us and it became a great experience ! The food was tasty and presentation brilliant! Serving some of our favourite local wine!
