Longtab Brewing Company

I suggest you check out Longtab Brewing in San Antonio. Don’t pass it by based on the outside appearance! It’s located off the beaten path in a complex of garage type buildings with many auto related businesses. In fact, it looked like a garage too! Inside, there’s two rooms, one with a bar and tall tables. Another room with dining tables and couches. There’s lots of military photos, awards and televisions on the walls. The atmosphere is relaxed albeit a little noisy in the room with dining tables. First photo is the Chef Salad and Pretzel Charcuterie Board and second is Pork Belly Nachos. I’d suggest skipping the charcuterie board but that pretzel and beer-cheese sauce is To-Die-For and the sauerkraut was very good too. The cucumber salad was decent but I was unimpressed with the sausage and just didn’t like the white sausage. The salad and nachos were quite good too. I’d say the beer was above average as well.

While in town for fathers day weekend we checked out Longtab on our way home. We might have caught them at an off time as they were having a father's day brunch, but we felt their ordering system was very confusing.Unlike majority of breweries, they would bring the beer to your table. This would lead to a long delay from ordering to getting a refill of your drink.Additionally, we were unable to find a location to self-serve yourself water which is key at any brewery.I plan to try to stop by in a future visit when a special event is not happening to hopefully have a more positive review.

This place is really run well. It’s veteran owned and you can tell the love and respect the employees have for their job and the establishment. It’s shows through the attitude, the beer, the service, and the food. Everything we had was delicious. Roast beef sandwich and pretzel brat , both incredible. All the beers have a quick story behind their names which is cool. Comfortable seating and great decor make this place a win win win. Although it’s the complete opposite side of town from us, we will be back. Go check them out. It’s worth it.

Pretty decent brewery run by former SF guys with a low key atmosphere and beers that rotate often.Good food but missing some of the basic staples.Parking can be challenging so plan on street Parking.

The beer we tried was excellent. And best pretzel with queso I've tried. Can't wait to explore the rest of their menu. The service was very friendly and welcoming.
