Longtail Kitchen

Four of us went for lunch on Saturday,wasn't very busy maybe a bit early @11:30ishIt's more like food court service,you order n got a number, you pick up the food yourself.Free water available. Food was great especially the wings, I would say equal with pnompenh (Chinatown)wings so was the mie goreng equal with hawkers delight except this one more meat. Laksa ,the sauce was really good with thick coconut taste.The only drawback is a bit expensive for the small portion.

We were happy to find Longtail Kitchen at New Westminster Quay as we have enjoyed eating at Maenam in Vancouver over the years. The menu here is abbreviated but still interesting. You order and pay for your food at the counter then grab a table inside or outside overlooking the river. We enjoyed all three dishes that we ordered and they were very good to bring out extra plates so that we could share. Prices reflected the good quality of the food. Recommended.

Really really exceptional! Informal riverfront location in the main market front area. We ate take-out at a table outside. Pad Thai is very good, curry even better, and the eggplant stir fry was outstanding if you like spicy! You might overlook the fried chicken but do yourself a favour and try it...yum yum!

This claims to have thai street food on the river. Absolutely true.The food is delicious. prepared when you order, no heat lamps. If you are looking for fine dining, this is not the place, but if you want good food prepared fresh then this is definitely the place.

As someone who has lived in Thailand, I can speak to the quality of their dishes on the menu. The portions match the pricing and I've enjoyed each meal I've had there.
