We were there last night and were served by a pleasant older waiter. Thought we would go back today for lunch. The tall dark haired waiter was already very grumpy yesterday but when we wanted 1 menu del dia, he kept on saying we could not share! We said we did not want to share (because my husband was not feeling very well)! He was rude and pointed out again 'no compartido '! Demanded with a nod what I wanted....well nothing thank you!!!! What a disappointment! Specially since he must have recognised us from the night before!!
We were recommended to this restaurant by our hotel owner, and it made for very good evening. The restaurant was quiet, but it was October. I had the Ox tail which was a strong flavour, tender and delicious. Local wines were cheap and good. Service was quick. The nice part was the relaxed atmosphere which enticed us to stay for extra drink after the meal and enjoy the authentic ambience.
The title says almost all. Just need to add that the sidra is homemade but very good, especially when is served from the first floor (go there and see what I mean . The price is fair for what you eat. 15€/Pax and you Will be satisfied. See below the bill for four.
We sat in a part of the restaurant that was open one side. It is a rustic venue on a main road. That said, the staff did their best to help and the menu was in English. The food was acceptable and the price reasonable.
