Lucas Dominican

My fiancé and I wanted to try a new Dominican restaurant and we were very disappointed with the food. We ordered on Grubhub and everything was delivered on time and hot. We ordered a whole rotisserie chicken which was VERY dry and over cooked, we gave it to our dogs. The mofongo was good but they gave no sauce. The white rice was hard and undercooked. My fiancé makes better rice and she is from England. We also ordered sancocho the meat was again dry and hard to eat. ImDominican myself and this was very far from authentic Dominican food.

My husband and I have ordered food from here a few different times. Recently, we ordered a mangu with salami and fried cheese. If they would have sliced the cheese any thinner I would have been able to see through it. The mangu tasted like vinegar...not good at all. Disappointed overall.

First time having Lucas and the food was great. The chicharrón was the best I?ve had in a really long time. The rice and beans were very flavorful. This will be my go-to spot now!
