Neat little place kind of hidden and close to the wharf. We were told the wait was 30-40 mins. Ended up being closer to an hour. Then we were seated on the back deck. Ordered pretty quickly and then waited almost another hour for our food. The pimento hush puppies weren?t as cheesy as we thought they might be. Almost a regular hush puppy. The jelly was delicious though. Food finally came and we were as hungry any more since it too so long. But I think it was still pretty good. This was on Memorial Day weekend so I?m guessing a little extra busy.
We decided to try Luna's on our Orange Beach visited and were pleased with our food. I had the shrimp-n- grits, my wife had the bronzed grouper, and my child had the mac-n-cheese with a meatball. The food was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The staff were friendly and attentive to our table. This was a great dining experience and we will be back on our next visit to the area.
So good! We went during happy hour. This have us an opportunity to try more things. The wait staff were great. Can't wait to go back. We tried the pimento cheese hush puppies, pretzels with beer cheese, husband had the Red Fish and I had the pork and grits (sorry can't remember the name) it was all so good. The only disappointmenting part was we had no room for dessert.
Overall pretty good experience! Adult entrees were better than the kids meals. The kids fish was fair and the burger had a bit too much bread. The fresh catch blackened red snapper was great! Fried shrimp was good as well. Nice atmosphere on the back patio. Friendly service!
