stumbled up on this lovely restaurant for a late lunch, as I often have to work in Barcelona and prefer to dine where the locals eat, food was great and staff very welcoming but this was short lived as all of time we were there we witnessed a female senior member of staff cursing and bullying her work colleagues to a point that it was to uncomfortable for us to stay, We didn’t want to intervene as this manageress seemed aggressive and We didn’t want to make things worse for staff, such a shame, but by the way she conducted herself this wasn’t just a one off, won’t be visiting again, but hope the owners of this place take not of my review.
I went here after being recommended by a group of friends and although the food was ok the service was terrible. A middle aged woman, who i guess was the manager, was stomping around looking miserable and just had a very bad attitude. I could see her shouting at members of staff in front of all the customers and it was uncomfortable. I think she thought we couldn't understand her because we were speaking in English. She was very rude. I felt sad for the staff. She was very unprofessional. Apart from that the food portions are big and the sauces are tasty.
Had a bad start when we arrived for our meal, food was not great but the Manager I think his name was Elgar or Edgar sorted everything out for us so thank you and what a great asset to the restaurant. You made the night so memorable for us. Lindsay and Mark
Edgar the manager was very helpful. He was attentive and friendly throughout our meal. He also spoke quite good English and gave us suggestions on things to do in the area. The food was tasty and the portions were very big.
