I booked the cocktail making session at Mai Thai for a good friend's Hen Do after a cocktail making session at the Slug and Lettuce fell through. I ham so happy that things didn't work out with S&L as I can't imagine it coming close to the fantastic time we had here. This was so much better than I could have ever expected. Kris lead the session and was an absolute delight, keeping us entertained, laughing, and made sure everyone had a drink in front of them at all times. I honestly couldn't have asked for more from this experience, it was well worth the value of £30 a head, and would have happily paid a bit more given the service. I would highly recommend the cocktail making class here at Mai Thai.
The waiter with tatoos on his arms was too rude. While I was telling him the order he did not care about it and stopped to hear it because he preferred to speak with his friends that were there. I asked for the sisha but he didn't bring it to me, probably he forgot it or if he had brought it to me it would have been too late because they had to close at 00.00...People who have come later than me have got their orders and sisha before me. The blonde girl in front of the bar in charge of taking the customers in front of the street has been vary kind anyway.
great layout, spacious venue. we visited the perhaps quietest night of the year. only two other groups in the venue. we ordered both the cheese and the chocolate fondues that were in order when a bit overpriced for what they get. I thought more than just on chopped white brot for the cheesefondue mulled zider were good. after the short and slightly underwhelming experience we moved on to the city.
Terrible service. I and my four friends were sitting there for like half an hour and the waitress wouldn’t serve us. We were trying to wave her down but she was too busy dancing around and socialising With the other Staff members. Though eventually, she served us.
