Wir hatten zwar einen guten Deal, aber der Preis, den wir gezahlt haben, ist eigentlich zu viel für das, was wir hatten. Wir waren in diesem Hotel vor ein paar Jahren, als es unter Lindner Hotels Management war. Zu dieser Zeit war es bereits alt, aber zumindest in guter Form gehalten. Nun, das hat sich geändert, die Teppiche alle sind verrottet, teilweise herausgenommen und mit Felsen bedeckt. Das Schließfach im Zimmer hatte keine Bar zum Einhängen von Tuch oder Regalen, um Dinge zu platzieren, nur eine leere Sache. Die Vorhänge hängen aus dem Haspel, sahen schrecklich aus. Die Duschtür war nicht geschlossen. Zumindest waren die Handtücher und Bettwäsche sauber. Wir waren zwei Nächte, das reicht. Selbst einchecken war eine schlechte Erfahrung. Es gab nur ein paar vor uns, die schon serviert wurden, aber noch dauerte es fast eine Stunde, bis wir unser Zimmer bekamen. Die erste Rezeption Dame hatte keine Ahnung und die zweite übernahm war sehr unfreundlich. Das Frühstück war gut, guter Kaffee. Wir genießen es mit Bademantel und Badeschlüpfern vom Zimmer zum Thermalbad und der Sauna zu gehen. Das ist das Plus für dieses Hotel.
If you don’t enjoy to have a spa , don’t bother to stay here. Even the spa with so called therma and claimed to be good for skin.. nothing close to many Japanese onsen I have been too!!! This is far sub standard. The receptionist service was terrible, we booked a room for 3 and realised was given for 2 . I asked can change to bigger room for 3 pax as room is rather too small to accommodate 3 with luggages! They told me all room sold out and I told them we booked months ago and clearly stated 3. Even a roll over bed needs space ! Eventually they gave in and provide me a room for 3 and have a nice city view.. I believe they just don’t bother to accommodate probable we booked it cheap through a travel agent. The room comes with nothing other than towel and shampoo for shower !!!! No hand towel and other amenities! The room is too run down and how can it claim a high rating ? Skip this hotel if you can.. the only probably can be praised was the breakfast .. it was reasonably good In European standard . They just don’t deserve any stars more than one!
Located in one building but there is an underground tunnel that connects to the main building of the hotel. Should make reservations as often full. Food somewhat heavy but will accommodate special requests. Bread was excellent. Service was quick even when busy.
We enjoyed our stay here. Found the rooms clean and quiet but in need of updating in the bathrooms. The buffet breakfast, included in our reservation, was delicious. The indoor, outdoor, grotto and sauna were divine!
