Australian twist on a Japanese styled restaurant. This place is a diamond in a sea of gold. Let's start with positives 1. Modern trendy, warm ambiance. The wood shelving gave off a relaxing vibe, kind of like the interior of a sauna.2. Food was above average and really good bang for your buck. 3. Not too busy When coming into the restaurant you are warmly greeted by the host and sat down. What awaits is chopsticks, kikoman bottles, soy sauce trays and menus. Don't be afraid to ask for side plates and table water. The experience was soo chill coming with my family. The kids meal was actually big !!! I was surprised for my nephew. The sushi was warm and fresh, and the rice is just right. Kind of wished we ordered sashimi. "Everything was simple which made it great" - sister in law. This is what I love: simple food that is perfected. You can taste the hard work that goes behind preparing the dishes. Now the tiny negatives:1. Waiters should introduce themselves.- maybe a little Japanese greeting to make it feel more Japanese - should offer table water.- should farewell the table- suggest drinks 2. Green tea latte was weak, (needed to be mixed better, I found all the powder stuck to the glass)3. Menu needs redesigning. Something other than just plain white maybe some Japanese art on the side Visited Friday June 23rd 7pm
