The restaurant is a short walk away from the touristy area and is really worth the 7 mins walk out of town. It was recommended to us by our airbnb host and we were really pleased we went. We shared a razor clams with a light sauce and octopus with potato and sauce to start both were extremely tasty , very tender and both had a lovely olive oil dressing too. For main course we had dorado and 'confit ' potatoes. The fish was very fresh and the potatoes were delicious. Pudding we had a tiramisu and carrot cake with an orange sorbet. Both were presented beautifully and were very good. We had an excellent bottle of local Galician grape wine , recommended by our waiter. The waiter and the chef both served and were very friendly and hospitable. The service was excellent. You can book a table via whats app which was very easy to do. If back in Santiago would definitely come back. Thank you for an excellent meal and service.
Based on trip adviser reviews I decided to hive this a go. The place is a bit hard to find in the maze of alleyways. The restaurant is slick and modern and the food is a fresh take on traditional fish dishes from the region. Portions are small and prices are in line with fine dining. Service was oddly cold, abrupt and even though the restaurant was largely empty time spent to explain dishes was grudging. A little more friendliness would have made the experience special. It's good to see restaurants do something new with food , but old fashioned courtesy will also make food more enjoyable.
Excellent seafood restaurant slightly out of the busy centre of the City. We went twice, as we enjoyed the food so much. There is an emphasis on sharing dishes, which worked well for us. Fish is beautifully cooked and presented scallops, ceviche of Bream, razor clams all went down well. English speaking staff were attentive and helpful. Highly recommended!
Such a great meal. Go for anything with a star next to it on the menu. Really fresh ingredients, the chefs clearly keen on what they buy in and how they treat it. Just really dedicated and skilled people doing what they love. Their wine recommendation was spot on.
