Have been to Mandarin de Neuilly 5+ times with family, mainly for dinner. The restaurant is small in size. The food tastes average and is priced on the upper tire for Chinese food in a Paris suburb. On a side note, Neuilly sur Seine is a hype suburb at the border of Paris but that alone does not caution for the (poor) quality of food vs the price range of this restaurant. The staff seem Ok and look child friendly.Avoid the "Shanghai style prawns" which is utter tasteless and costs 14.50 EUR for boiled prawns in a sweet sauce decorated with weeds and mushrooms. Try the duck dishes or the vegetable stew instead.Underground pay parking (not free) available in front of the restaurant.
these are some negative opinions on the mandarin lus on trip advisor that motivate mine: it is on the opposite! the welcome is very courteous, and even warm when the (good) habits of returning. and if I go back, it's also and especially for the quality of his kitchen, always as delicious after years of frequentation! for me, in this range of prices, undoubtedly one of the best Asians in the western Paris.

I knew this restaurant a long time ago but apart from the prices that flew away, the food she didn't really follow and that's a shame. as to the reception that has never been terrible it continues so. I'm not recommending this fare, there's really better elsewhere.
