About 10pm ok on a warm Saturday night in a bustling Palencia, we decided to try the Maño restaurant, based on the feedback in Trip Advisor. The helpful waiter who met us at the door infirmed us that we could have snack in the bar or terrace, or go downstairs to the dining room for a meal. We choose the latter. At first we were the only ones in the small but pleasant dining room, but by the time we left, another three tables were occupied. We only wanted something light and choose the Revuelta de Boletus (boletus mushroom and foi gras cooked with whisked egg), a tomato and tuna salad and cheese board, followed by Tarta de la Abuela (grandma's tart) and coffees. This was accompanied by a couple of glasses of Marquis de Caceres rueda verdejo wine. Lorena, who served us, was the most attentive, professional, informative and friendly waitress (or waiter for that matter) that I have experienced in a long time. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed the meal and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Maño restaurant.

It is a good place to eat traditional food. The place isn't too big, you can also have some tapas or raciones upstairs or of course a beer.
