Marinellas is a place where you go and you will be treated as if they know you for a life. Staff are extremely polite, knowledgeable and always there if you need anything. The outdoor terrace is one of the best hidden gems in Glen Ellyn, as you have all the benefits of outdoor dining in the beautiful downtown Glen Ellyn, without all traffic, noise and commotion of the main road. On our last culinary experience we were grounded by the salmon cake with its citrus glaze sauce. The Panko bread crumbs were crisp and firm yet perfectly light enough to not feel overwhelming. Cheese ravioli's are always a favorite, and the Caprisi salad is filled with everything a Caprisi should be. The balsamic is also the upper notch. Can't say enough good things about Marinellas, and after you spend a meal there, I don't think you'll be able.
Everything about this place was excellent- the atmosphere, the service, the food from the salad to the dessert was perfect. For the first time at an Italian restaurant, I cleaned every plate and didn’t walk away with leftovers or feeling so full I could explode because it was portioned perfectly. Can’t recommend this spot enough!
Beautiful and private terrace. delicious wine and cocktails, efficient and friendly service, fabulous Italian cuisine and specialties. Marinella is really one of our favorite spots in the western suburbs. Private parking. Something for everyone. Godfather would eat here! Authentic.
Two of the hardest working people I know have this family business. They won't be disappointed. Big food big deck in summer. And here the heads are up. Only space in the city that has a parking lot. If you go say Benny Jeff sent you. You can't beat. Trust me
