Marks Spencer Cafe

Arranged to meet friends for breakfast in the M S cafe in The Meadows. Arrived at 10am and there were already queues at the tills at least six people deep. Three staff behind the tills, in no rush, no acknowledgement or conversation. Couldn’t see a breakfast menu anywhere so we just ordered coffee’s …… It took 20 mins for four coffee’s they were not that nice either. We had to change a teaspoon as it was dirty, tables not cleared, air conditioning on full blast and it was freezing. We will not be back, so disappointed- what has happened to you Marks and Spencer?

Poor quality of the food. Very disappointing as Tesco can have great products to sell on their shelves. For example, the finest burger is quite good. But the burguer served to the clients in the cafe is tasteless. Tesco's cafe charges similar prices to the M&S cafe but in terms of quality and service are way below expectations.

When in business lead from the top . Cafe staff defending them selves Infront of the manager as if there job depended on it . Basically making up timings of delivery for poor service. One minute 2 staff 15 minutes later 5 staff manager a wet blanket absolute disgrace to the brand name . Never again stay away .

Poor from the start food Luke warm and and the service was shocking from the start we never return again and the staff need to learn how to speak to the customers

Cold beans, bacon and even cold poached eggs! I really do not like sending food back however lovely the staff are
