We asked for a quite corner because we came with our little dog which is a bit anxious sometimes with too many people. The owner said to us in an arrogant way: I do not have a quite corner (ha, ha) but I will give you this table pointing at a window table next to a big group. While he was talking to us he got quite close and our dog made a short (1x) defending bark. As a consequence the owner kicked us literally out in a very rude way saying: Oh, I like dogs but not like this. I do not want this here. Go outside, please. We left immediately and understand that it might be disturbing but you can do this in a friendly way.
We came to this area 25 years ago, by coincidence. It's an area that nit many people ever heard of, but it is absolutely worthwhile visiting for a skiing trip. It's not as big as many other areas but the look and feel of the area is somehow unique. The choice of hotels and restaurants is not overwhelming but surely enough to keep you satisfied for a week.
The food is similar to the other restaurants on the resort of Flumserberg. Nevertheless the food is very good. Hearty portions and good selection. Canteen style eaterie. Prices slightly higher due to the fact you are on the top of the mountain.
Don't waste your time here. In summer on weekends it takes over 1h to get food and they don't warn you about it. They even act surprised when you mention they could have told...
