Mauri Concept - Tisch reservieren

Mauri looks like a fashionable new york place, magically transported to lugano. the kitchen is healthy and innovative, the courteous service (the more good the girls of their fellow men,) the place is cozy and knows how to renew. It is a shame that the tables inside are few. the prices a little high instead are justified by the high quality of the dishes. to try the tartare, the magnificent bagels and of course the pastry. Ultimately, Mauri hit and deserves the success he is having. a lugano is unique and hardly imitable.

I ate in this place twice. positive sides: beautiful idea and innovative, good food, dishes and environment very well maintained, excellent coffee. negative sides: in my opinion a little expensive. a sandwich (called bagel that makes more in) with a splash of salad and a handful of fried potatoes fr 26 seems excessive. Waiting times: 45 minutes. too much for a lunch break. I do not know if it is a problem of organization or professionalism of the staff ... sin, I hope the problem can be solved.

Let me start from the espresso. Yes because usually in Lugano they all serve crappy coffee but here it is tip-top! As good as in Naples... (...e se lo bevi al banco costa solo CHF2.-)Very nice place, pleasant atmosphere and very good food. I tried bagels, beef tartare and fish tartare: loved them all!Last, but not least, the waiter is lovely and beautiful! ;)

Fast efficient and friendly service serving excellent coffee. You can even get a haircut if you need one as it's attached to the bar. They serve snacks but I did not try them as we were only there for tea and coffee.

.for a good lunch based on bagels. the quality of raw materials is always appreciated. friendly and smiling staff, acceptable prices. Come on.
