The check in staff was friendly and helpful. Construction was going on in the lobby and there were a lot of workers around. Once we got to our room I smelled a musty smell around the sink area next to the mini fridge. The mini fridge contained food items from the previous guests. I went back to check in to make sure they gave us the correct room . While they were cleaning out the fridge, we explored the pool area. The pool area looked neglected and the water was dark? I don’t know what was the deal there. When I went to shower, the handle fell off when I tried to turn it on. The only good thing about hotel restaurant was the half price wine. If you’re hungry, go somewhere else. The waitress got orders mixed up along with the cards they were using. What is mess! I don’t know why hotels don’t routinely check the rooms to make sure everything is functioning properly and clean.
Gorgeous hotel on the University of Mississippi campus. We have stayed a few different times. We had a regular room the first time and the bathroom was very small and the room was dated. The next two times we booked a suite. It’s so worth the extra money! Two bathrooms, sitting room with a tv so it’s separate from the bedroom. Small kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave and sink. Would definitely recommend although it’s very hard to get a reservation on a football weekend
I was in Oxford last weekend for a friends wedding and a few us decided to stop and grab drinks at McCormick’s for drinks. I thoroughly enjoyed the drinks and the restaurant and hotel were beautiful. But the highlight of our dining experience was our server Evan! He was so kind, professional, and represented the establishment better than anyone in there. A sweet fellow who deserves a raise no doubt. If I come back, it’s for him!
The Inn at Ole Miss has a great location on the Ole Miss campus and friendly staff. Rates were similar to other hotels in the area. Breakfast in the McCormick's restaurant was not included with the room, but the food and service were beyond our expectations!
