We used the drive through facility this Sunday and ordered our meal. The waitress re checked our order. We were told to park in the Bay. Over a period of 30 minutes our order was mixed up 3 times. Despite a number of employees coming out to apologies and promise to get it right they didn’t!! For all the stress and confusion one member of staff promised to refund our money and give us our meal value approx £12 on the house! Finally the manager came out to tell us our meal was on the way. We told him that his colleague was going to refund our money due to all the problems to which the manager promptly replied he wasn’t prepared to do this. Either we cancel the order and get our money back or we pay! We haven’t come across this level of arrogance or bad customer care for a very long time especially in a manager! We asked the manager for his name he said it was Gurvir not sure he gave his right name) . We told him we were appalled. He just stood there totally oblivious of the stress and time wastage caused. We said we didn’t want his food and to give us our money back! While he went to get it another waitress came out with ‘yes’ another incorrect order!! We said we wanted our money! We asked her for the managers name and she said company policy didn’t allow her to give the managers name as staff had got into trouble doing this in the past. The manager clearly does not understand good business. He’d rather throw away an order than win customers!! McDonald’s don’t you care about your customers?
