I'm not usually a McDonalds fan. Like their breakfast when we're travelling or for a McCafe Coffee and sweet. Had heard about the create your taste menu and how expensive it was. I agree it's expensive but heavenly. I have been having the Halomi burger with a hot tomato sauce. Not the usual tomato sauce. I'm a meat lover but these halomi burgers have me hooked. Service is not great. Plenty of staff running around but no service/front counter staff. Grand daughter loves the playground which is big. Will return but only with grand daughter and maybe coffee's at other times. Music is for the young hence why no mature adults other than that.
Every time we go to the Mcdonalds at Victoria point there is an issue with our meals wether it be the wrong order or missing items doesn't matter if its breakfast, lunch or dinner, they always seem to mess the orders up. even when the shop isn't busy. and 9 out of 10 times we are asked to wait around the corner for our order when going through drive through. All i can say is thank god the staff here are flipping burgers and not in an important job that they could put peoples lives a risk as they are incompetent at this basic job.
Tried to catch someones (anyones) attention to get service unsucessfully for 5-10 mins. THE RESTAURANT WAS NOT BUSY (4pm) and it appeared that the staff were socialising with each other. Eventually a young lady went out the back looking for someone to serve front counter and when i asked if the shop front was opened was advised she had now decided to close the till and open another one. HONESTLY Maccas VP dont you have an interest in custom at all ?. I gave up and left with no purchase.
This restaurant can be really really good and sometimes very very bad. Bought the grand daughter here to play on the play equipment whilst hubby and I had a coffee and read the Sunday papers. Wasn't that busy but its mothers day so not surprising. Staff seem to be good today. Coffee is nice and hot and have lots of papers. Prices are good.
