Authentic picnic area in the middle of a pine forest. If you’re visiting Segovia or Coca Castle and you don’t mind to drive a bit to enjoy an amazing roast duck or baby lamb, please visit this place. From Segovia is about 45 min and 20 min from Coca. Very important, you must call them one or two days in advance to reserve the meal because the animals are free range. The food itself is amazing. The roast, cooked in a wood fired oven, is serve in the traditional clay pot. The duck is cooked to perfection, golden brown skin, plenty of juice and the meat literally melts in your mouth. Very very tasty. It is coming with a side salad (lettuce, onion and tomato) and bread. There is an open-air restaurant, perfect when the weather is warmer and an indoor one. They have a playground area for the kids and is next to a river. Ideal to enjoy with friends and/or family. Very good prices and the staff is super friendly. I highly recommend this place.
Un restaurante peculiar... Sin carta, te sirven lo que hay... Primero pensábamos que era un menú cerrado, pero en la cuenta te cobran todo por separado. Deberían avisar de estos detalles, porque colocar una ensalada en la mesa sin que la hayas pedido, dando por supuesto que será parte del menú pero luego te la cobran es un detalle feo... El sitio necesita un lavado de cara, sobre todo los baños. La comida está buena, el parro es su especialidad, tienen otras cosas, pero como te traen esta y no puedes preguntar por otras pues... Estaba a tope y lo llevan solo 3 personas, entiendo el agobio, pero hay detalles que mejorar. Una cosa es ser un sitio tradicional y de los de siempre y otra pasar por alto ciertas cosas.
Si quieres comer algo especial, recomendamos sus asados, sobre todo el Parro (pato) por 32€ Ponen ensalada por 6€ también muy buena. Faltaría que tuviera patatas fritas, que le pega a la salsita. Importante, llamar para reservar.
