We seen this place on TikTok as we searched for something in the area. We loved that this place was very kid friendly! We ordered the taco tower (jalapeños are strong and spicy) but it was great! We also had pulled pork, fish, shrimp, and steak tacos with rice and beans. They all had such interesting flavors, sauces and tastes we’ve never experienced. Least favorite was the shrimp taco and most favorite was the fish and pulled pork. We also had some margaritas (strawberry,mango and sweet and spicy) and pink panther and rum punch. The rum punch and the spicy margarita was the least favorite. The mango margarita and the pink panther were the most liked. We ordered churros and they were hard and overcooked. This place would be 5 stars if the cook and bartender made sure they stayed consistent with the way they cook, flavor and plate the foods and drinks. As we reordered some items, the taste, style and plating was different. Also, we had Chantel as our server and she is awesome, welcoming and has a very cool and positive personality! We loved the aesthetic and vibe of this place. Overall, it was great and we will be back!
This was my first time at Metro Taco and I'll tell you it will NOT be my last. This gem on metropolitan avenue was everything I needed and more. To be honest, it's hard to order here because there's so many options to choose from. But, I made the very difficult decision. I opted to go for the Crunch Wrap Suprema w/ ground beef. It was $16 and I would have ordered two if I knew how damn good it was. Seriously. The taste, the amount of food you get, all the goodness. So spot on. I also opted for El Gringo taco? don't quote me on the name of it but I'm pretty sure that's what it was. The tacos are good. I'd order them again. But, I'd 100% be back for the Crunch Wrap Suprema before anything. We also ordered the rice and beans. Very good and very tasty. Update: I started drafting the above after the first time I was there. Well, I came back less than 2 weeks after that order. I think that says enough. Go!
Super disappointed. I’d ordered from here a while ago and chalked up the underwhelming tacos to delivery. But tonight we ordered onsite and waited and it was just inexcusable. Everything was dry and over cooked. The corn had almost no seasoning and for what they charge this feels really offensive. Two strikes and they’re out.
The food was delicious, cocktails need some improvement, expensive for the very tiny glass in which they come, is filled with all the ice and very little alcohol. Nacho-Turm and Brussel sprouts were Delish as well as the main meal that was the roasted rice with different meat and a fried egg above.
