Well that was up there with worst meal ever…. 6 adults 2 children 4pm Christmas Day. Starters so so !! Nice prawn dish but cold) awful tomato soup child’s starter) Pate starters ok Main dishes 1 very fatty steak uneatable stale veg.. 5 Turkey mains accompanied by lots of stale old veg salty gravy 1 vegetarian main lots more old/cold veg Puddings so so children enjoyed ice cream. Think it was bad idea to book late sitting!! I watched lots of hardly touched meals being taken away. Our waitress was lovely but she seemed embarrassed bringing our food… I did have a chat with management he took drinks bill off our bill £80.00) annoyed now as I wish I’d paid drink bill had refund on food… as I really didn’t expect to be cooking at 8pm on Christmas night. Overall think miller carter Sunderland needs an overhaul dirty floors/carpets dirty toilets /cold dining area …

Visited last night with friends. All chaps of a ‘certain age’ think Last Of The Summer Wine. We were served by Olivia who was superb. Efficient; professional and personable. Thank you Olivia. Food was good. Well presented and served promptly. We stayed until, I think, we were that last folks there. A few glasses of wine and good conversation. Staff were attentive but Olivia was exceptional.

Beautiful Christmas dinner. Catered for a complex allergy for one of our party without any problems. Would come again

Christmas Day. Very poor food. Souffle was awful. Steak just ok. Desserts disappointing. Waste of money
