Mochi Ramen Bar

Arguably one of the best ramen shops I’ve tried in Europe. The tonkotsu is rich and on point, its chashu is at the perfect balance between bouncy and tender, with a smoky torched flavor. The half-boiled egg is also warm and yolky, unlike many other places. The karaage as a starter is also very tasty with a crispy outside and juicy inside. I’d totally come back to Vienna just for this place.

Very tasty Ramen, although it’s a bit fashion (with takuwan which I’ve never seen in ramen before) but the soup, chashu and ni-tamago (soft egg) which is the soul of ramen did not change. It’s like a bar, simple but still very Japanese style. The Ramen with 4 pieces of fire grill chashu, black garlic oil which make the soup taste differently. And it’s very worthy to come and try.

I did not trust the reviews that first said “best ravens in Vienna”, but I must admit: I was dead wrong! The food was amazing and also the atmosphere! I was lucky to sit right at the counter and got a lot of recommendations from the cook. The place is crowded all the time if you don't get a table right away, try it again half an hour later. You do not take reservations.

Ich war in meiner Woche in Wien dreimal dort und alles ist hervorragend, vom Personal an der Rezeption bis zum köstlichen Essen. Manchmal servieren Ihnen die Köche auch das Essen, was immer eine nette Geste ist. Ich habe ALLE Gerichte probiert und es gibt kein Gericht, das ich nicht empfehlen würde. Ich hoffe, ich komme noch ein viertes Mal, bevor ich gehe!

Wow! The best ramen I've ever had in Europe. Maybe the best at all! All works great, special ambience, relaxed service and food is simply amazing. I'll be back.
