Mr Chow's Peking Restaurant

Es war zahlreiche Zeiten zum Abendessen, der Service ist immer aufmerksam, und das Essen ist immer konsistent. Es ist Ort, das ein verborgenes Juwel ist. Manchmal schaffen Sie es, einen Park etwas außerhalb des Restaurants zu finden. Wenn Sie am Fenster sitzen, erhalten Sie einen herrlichen Blick auf den Hafen, ideal für einen romantischen Mitteilung. Sie sind berühmt für ihre geräucherte ganze Ente, die mit Dampfbrötchen geschnitten serviert wird. Ich kann sehen, dass dieses Gericht für diejenigen eines erworbenen Geschmacks ist, da ich beim ersten Mal kein Fan war, als ich es hatte, aber jetzt lieb es. Der Rauchgeschmack ist ziemlich stark. Das betrunkene Hähnchen ist ein traditionelles chinesisches Gericht und sie machen es sehr schön. Immer glücklich, hier zu gehen.

We tried out Mr Chow's for New Years Eve and were not disappointed. The food was terrific. I think we over-ordered but hey, a bit of gluttony at the end of 2016, who can blame us? Peking Duck was delicious. Also the mixed seafood and crispy rice was a wonderful experience. It was also fun to head down to Millers point as it's not often a spot I head to. I have heard people complain of the service, it was a bit aloof but that was fine with me, one of the waitresses had minimal English so that would be hard for her and I did detect different level of service for different customers. I noted the large Chinese table brought in wine, so this is a good tip for next time- BYO. Overall we had a really good night and were glad we made the trip.

Every time I go to Mr Chow's it is not busy. Yes it is out of the way, but the food (and service) is fantastic so I can't understand why this restaurant is not packed each lunch or dinner. The service is Ok - nothing flash but the quality of the food is superb especially the Peking Duck, Duck Soup, San Chow Bow, Chicken, Dim Sums etc. Definitely give this restaurant a try and see for yourself.

authentic and plentiful next door to the Captain cook hotel. price was reasonable, service was good and we really enjoyed the food.

Love this place, the food and service is amazing ! The duck is gorgeous and the deserts are a must to try !!
