Such an amazing first time visit! We have wanted to come and try Mr. Mac's for a while but just have not had the chance. We approached Mr. Mac's to find their front window decorated for spring. Such a nice touch. When we walked in, we were greeted right away and asked if this was our first time. As I answered it was our first time, our cashier asked us if we would like her to go over the menu. How incredible is this service? Let me tell you, our cashier came around the counter, and showed us the menu and their specials. It was so one on one and everything was explained so well! I really appreciate that the employees really seem to care here. Our food came out quickly and hot. So delicious! I had no idea we would experience such incredible service. Through our stay, employees came around and cleaned tables, picked up plates and asked customers how their food was. Very genuine feel. Mr. Mac's certainly stands out for me now. There are not many places that extend this level of hospitality. My only regret is we didn't try this place sooner!!
I had high expectations for this restaurant based on the hype my acquaintances had been making about it, and I wasn't disappointed! The food was excellent, but more excellent was the customer service--my first visit was back in March 2019. I walked in and made a regrettable snap judgment about the gentleman behind the counter based on his appearance--I didn't expect premium service. He blew me away. He asked if my companion and I had ever visited before, and upon hearing that I hadn't, took the time to review the menu with me, including providing information about portion sizes and the different meal choices. He was polite and knowledgeable, and clearly cared about his job. I haven't seen him since, but hope he's still there benefiting the business!
Part of a local chain that specializes in macaroni and cheese. Lots of topping choices mixed in to the basic elbows with some monthly specials as well. Salads including macaroni salads and green salads round out the menu. This location is bright and clean. Staff is friendly and very quick. You order at the counter and wait at your table. In our case, it was about 10 minutes. Prices were low, but i found the flavors rather muddy and ended up using the hot sauces provided to spice things up.
This place is a little hidden but we finally noticed it tucked behind the Dunks so figured we 'd give it a try. We got the Cheese Please! And Bacon Cheddar Mac . The cheese was our favorite of the two. Overall the food was good but nothing we couldn 't have made at home if we wanted to, and for $8 for a small order you have to be really craving Mac and Cheese. They do have a drive through window for pickup of call ahead orders. And the staff was SO friendly and helpful as well.
