The MS Glaernisch is located on Lake Zurich at the Wadenswil lakeshore and train station. It was nice as I walked in to be greeted by a young lady with a big smile welcoming me. There are a few tables on the main level, but the best seats are on the upper level lake side. The seating consists of wooden tables with wooden and/or metal chairs. On mostly clear days there are wonderful views of the lake, boats on the lake and glorious views of the Alps.It was a hot, sunny day and a good time to stop in for a refreshing beverage. They have plenty of umbrellas to keep you out of the direct sunlight. I ordered my beer (4.60CHF) and enjoyed the stunning views. At dining times on sunny days, you most likely should make reservations but during off hours one can just stop by as tables tend to always be available. Their menu consists of fish, cheese platter, local specialties, an assortment of beverages and more.Late night they offer music and have decorative lights on the boat. The boat can also be rented for special events.
Es ist nett bei Sonne auf dem Deck zu sitzen - Urlaubsfeeling. Leider ist die Bedienung wenig zuvorkommend, lange Wartezeiten, falsche Getränke serviert. Die Qualität des Essens kann ich nicht beurteilen. Insgesamt hat es noch Luft nach oben, was die Gastfreundschaft angeht.Pedalomiete ist super!
Ich war mit meiner Familie dort und auch schon vor einiger Zeit! Das Restaurant ist immer ein erfolgreicher Ort zum Essen, besonders natürlich im Sommer! Das Essen war einzigartig! Der Service aufmerksam und sehr freundlich! Es hat sich auf jeden Fall gelohnt. Ich würde es jedem empfehlen!
Für ein Bier oder ein Eis ist das MS Glärnisch der Hammer. Wunderschön gelegen im Hafen von Wädi, mit Meerblick. Sommerfeeling, man fühlt sich wie im Urlaub. Ein Ort, den man besuchen sollte! Die Preise sind eigentlich moderat. Weiter so!
