This is a local gem - not exactly designed for large groups (or even small groups - it might sit 10?). However, it is like stepping into the past - pictures from the 50's and 60's (Mickey Mantle, Sandy Koufax, Duke Snider adorn the walls) and all sorts of retro memorabilia everywhere.But you are not here to admire the decor !The food is amazing. Sliced meats while you watch, fresh soft breads, actual hot mustard, and pop in bottles. A different special every day (based on sandwich sizes) and a selection of all the favourites - Montreal smoked, meat, pastrami, you name it.Want a sandwich with a full pound of meat ? Just order the 454. They starts at 100g and go up to "I can't fit this in my mouth" size.Super friendly staff and quick service - just lean over the counter to see how your sandwich is coming along...Delicious. Myers Delicatessen catered the wedding reception last night and the food was fabulous. What a spread! The pulled pork was tender and mouth watering. There were several types of meat both hot and cold on the buffet and many salads. The variety of greens were fresh. Spring rolls, knishes and a variety of mustards and sauces added interest to the delicious buffet. I have ordered food from Myers before and always found it to be of top quality. Thank you Harrison.
