Each time I am in Germany, i will go to Gutsschänke Neuhof at least once. 41 years ago, our Wedding reception was catered by Neuhof. It was outstanding! Since then I moved to the United States but visit Germany at least every other year. My favorite main course is the Chateaubriand for two. it is always prepared to perfection! If you do not have time for a dinner coffee and cake are wonderful too. There is outdoor seating. The service is outstanding.
Staff is friendly and they have some nice dishes on the menu. The location is lovely, though interior somewhat special: playing the German card. Quality of the dishes is good however expensive. It is a rotary place: people willing to splash cash for some quality and something different, but there are much better places around.
We have been here several times, it is very popular with the locals and highly recommended. Normally we come for coffee and cake always good. It can get very busy so finding somewhere to sit can be a challenge.
