Their small room is actually very decent for us a toddler. Clean comfortable. Amenities are modern, pillows are fluffy, the rustic radio is a nice touch. Restaurant is lovely, dining area bar, very busy so definitely book ahead. Food very well presented and fairly priced, my 2yo loves their sausage. Service from 2 young men Jane the owner was spot on, friendly and helpful. Such good hospitality food out in the countryside!! The lovely waitress was amazing. Went out of her own way to accommodate us. I had severe heart burn on the night and she looked around for some medicine and recommended to use ginger beer (never knew this) eased my burn and went home happy and full. Good food, friendly staff, at least three different ales well kept. You do pay for the quality of the food. A pleasant touch is a bottle of water to accompany your eating and drinking.
