New Sagaya Midtown Market

Went in at 3:15 to buy a birthday cake where you can see the lady behind the counter with the cakes. The male manager rushed over and said they are closed. I said there is another cashier ten feet away and he said they don’t know the price when it is clearly marked on the cake! He refused to budge and I was shocked and hurt. I have been going there for over 15 years to get all my cakes but never again. One manager that thinks about his power rather than customers has ruined all my loyalty. Other places rated higher on cakes but I WAS loyal. Take your business to stores that want repeat customers and loyalty. They will have reasonable management in place that represents their way of doing business.

Be careful when you purchase anything there, I mean anything! They have to manually put the amount on the card machine and I wasn’t paying attention when I purchased my $13 lunch and to top it off she didn’t give my receipt to me. When I looked at my bank statement I realized I was charged $138 instead. They will not refund me what is owed to me and all they can offer me is a gift card. I will no longer shop or eat there.

Disappointed in the fish department. Bought 5 lbs salmon. Had it packed for a 10 hr flight. Charged $12 for packing. Came home to find 1 small gel pack in a Styrofoam box. And the fish filets were loose and unsecured in the box.

Fresh red salmon 5.99 lb. Bought 350.00 work , they cut up fish , brought home and vacuum sealed into dinners. Very friendly staff in fish department.

Good prices on certain items. A lot of unique foods you can't find anywhere else. Always snag a veggie lo mein Togo box for lunch while shopping
