Do not buy gift vouchers from Newlyn Filmhouse unless you are absolutely sure the recipient will be able to use them. Unfortunately they’ve taken a massive hard line for a request for an extension. We only asked for one months extension for £60 worth of vouchers it wouldn’t cost them anything, their attitude was immovable and unacceptable as a local business. Totally disappointing, expected far more Savoy in Penzance, next time!

I can’t believe there is a cinema like this one. Loved the experience from start to finish. The friendly staff, the intimate and independent feel, the small viewing room, the option to sit in a couch, with your drink from the barso grateful someone decided to offer this. A gem if you are in Newlyn and want to experience living like one of the locals with an independent spirit.
