This is a coffee shop with a small menu. I ordered an omelette, and have to say it was one of the best omelettes I have ever eaten. I am not sure what herbs were used, but it was savory and absolutely delicious. As is common in Switzerland, prices are high, two omelette and two beverages were 34 dollars... The outdoor seating had fur covered seats, and woolen blankets for those who braved the elements. Charming and very picturesque.
Although the location is great... this is the only positive point about this café. Unobtrusive, unfriendly and underoccupied service... This was not the first time we experienced bad service, but definitely the last because we are not back again... we found another place right around the corner to enjoy a nice drink on a sunny terrace with friendly service in Kränzlin.
I've never been to a restaurant, café or bar in my whole life where the waiter and waitress were so arrogant, unfriendly and not helpful. And her beef tartare tasted like tomato sauce with a hint of ground beef in it.
I just had to st down and this is the first place I went to .server was very friendly and spoke English. Coffee was excellent and the food was good
