Nghi Ngan Quan (NNQ)

We were so excited to get a last minute booking here as we had heard so much about how great the food is. But ..... maybe it was the meals we ordered ...... or maybe it was the fact that it was so busy ...... or maybe it was simply a bad day ...... but we were disappointed. Our dishes were bland and leaning towards quite boring. Fortunately the tamarind fried barramundi saved the day ... delicious! However all in all, noisy, absolutely crowded to the max, poor service, waited too long for our drinks, and the food took too long also. But we will give it another go another time

I really love NNQ - amazingly fresh food, beautiful clean restaurant and generous helpings. It is really good value for money. I just wish they would give you an option to avoid MSG in the broths. Surely you can still create amazing flavours without this known allergen? Apart from that - excellent choice

One of my favourite places to eat. Love the food. They don't usually take bookings so at busy times there can be a wait. It can be loud and noisy, but it's worth it for the food. Great service

We love the salt and pepper soft shell crab paired with the stir fried beef vermicelli salad. It's our go to and is the same every time!
