Selten habe ich in einer Cocktailbar eine derartig stimmige Atmosphäre erlebt. Tolles, stimmiges Ambiente und passende Musik (Jazz, und zu späterer Stunde Blues).Die Cocktail- und Spiritousenkarte ist riesig! Allein die Whiskey-Sorten füllen 3 Seiten. Das Personal ausserdem äußerst kompetent. Wir wurden bei unseren Cocktails äußerst exzellent beraten, und jedem haben sie haben vorzüglich geschmeckt.Das Lokal ist räumlich in einen Raucher- und Nichtraucherbereich aufgeteilt.Dies ist gerade für Nichtraucher bitter nötig, da im Raucherbereich auch viele Zigarrenliebaher ihrem Hobby fröhnen. Die Cocktails sind nicht ganz günstig (Preise zwischen 10 und 13,- pro Cocktail). Es werden dafür aber auch qualitative Spiritouosen verwendet, also ist das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis völlig in Ordnung. Für mich ab jetzt ein Fixtermin bei jedem Wienbesuch.
Found this place while touring through Vienna. What a great throwback to the old style cocktail bars from generations ago. Sitting at the bar watching the mixologist do his thing was a treat. The drinks were fairly priced and did not disappoint. Whisky (whiskey) bottles everywhere! So hard to decide (I had a 21 y/o Balvenie). The solo pianist put everybody in a nostalgic mood. Only downside I can possibly say is that it is a smoking bar. This seems to be a theme in many Viennese bars however, so Nightfly is not the only one doing it. I love cigars and the smell of cigar smoke, but not sure I want it in a small bar like this. It did not takeaway from our overall experience though. Would go back for sure.
Popped in for a nightcap after a day trawling the city, and enjoyed a very fine whisky or two at the bar. The place is small and compact with a bustling crowd, smoky but not overly so, and the drinks selection is awesome with everything served with care and expertise. The best part for me was watching the guy behind the bar putting cocktails together, he was like a machine.
Wenn man Lust auf Cocktails hat, sollte man sich die Stiegen hinunter ins Nightfly's begeben! Die Auswahl ist RIESIG! Vom Ambiente könnte man wirklich meinen, dass man irgendwo in New York seinen Manhatten schlürft! Wenn dann noch Live Pianomusik ist, möchte man gar nicht nach Hause gehen. Raucher/Nichtraucherbereich gut getrennt. Einen Besuch wert!
