Noot Thai Take Away

The food is undeniably some of the best Thai on the beaches. Unfortunately, we ordered for home delivery and nearly 2 hours later it arrived with no apology and no communication as to when it would arrive despite 2 phone calls and 2 hours. As fabulous as the food is, staff make a great deal of impact as to whether someone wants to come back. After the unapologetic, dismissive and rude discussion with the girl on the phone saying 'it's not like we intentionally make food late', we may be looking for a new favorite Thai place. It's not OK to leave customers in the dark and not communicate after they've paid for something 2 hours prior.If we had been asked or told that us picking it up would have been better for them, we'd have done it. Essentially, this review is not based on food but on the service, the non-communication and time it took to arrive.

Without a doubt this store makes the best pad thai on the northern beaches. I've tried almost every store between Avalon and Manly and Noot Thai wins. Every pad thai also comes with 1 prawn which is awesome.The money bags sold here are also very unique and tasty.I usually go their for dinner, the price is the standard for Thai food. The chef's are all Thai and the staff is very friendly.I've never eaten in before, but the inside is decorated very nicely.

We've been getting take away from noot thai for a few years and love the thai herbs and spices; however, for most of this year we've noticed that the sauces are getting stronger and sweeter which means more sugar and salt. I think people are generally trying to reduce their sugar and salt intake as so much of our food today is jam packed with it...please please reduce the sweetness - it actually kills off the beautiful freshness of the Thai ingredients.

Dropped on for a dine in. Not really the kind of place to eat in as only a couple of tables but very friendly and the food was great Value and tasty. Nice to just have a couple of BYO drinks and chill with the family. Thoroughly recommend and will definitely use for takeaway next.

We eat in this tiny tucked away restaurant/takeaway often, the food is always very good. Best Thai in Mona Vale by far
